Gregory Notaro, M.Ed.

Founder & Lead Instructor

Gregory Notaro is the founder and lead instructor of Coastal Academic Center, where he is committed to helping students discover their strengths, build confidence, and achieve lasting academic success through personalized, evidence-based instruction.

With more than 13 years of experience in education, Gregory has served as a classroom teacher, exceptional children's educator, instructional coach, and educational leader. He is passionate about creating engaging learning experiences that meet students where they are and empower them to reach their full potential.

Gregory earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from Florida Atlantic University with dual majors in Entrepreneurship and Marketing and a Master of Science in Educational Leadership from Barry University. He holds North Carolina Department of Public Instruction (NCDPI) licenses in Elementary Education, Exceptional Children (EC), and School Administration (Principal).

Throughout his career, Gregory has developed extensive expertise in supporting students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), English Language Learners (ELL), and other unique learning needs. Prior to founding Coastal Academic Center, he served as a Certified Instructional Coach with Broward County Public Schools, partnering with teachers to strengthen instructional practices and improve student achievement.

Gregory founded Coastal Academic Center with the belief that every student can thrive when provided with individualized instruction, meaningful encouragement, and high expectations. Whether working with students who need academic support, enrichment, or specialized learning strategies, he is dedicated to helping each learner build the skills and confidence needed for success in school and beyond.
