Meet the Team

Education has always been more than a career for me—it's a calling.

I was born and raised in South Florida, but my journey has taken me between Florida and North Carolina several times. Early in my career, I worked as a restaurant manager, but despite professional success, I knew something was missing. I wanted a career where I could make a lasting difference in people's lives. That realization led me to education.

I returned to Florida to pursue my teaching certification and began my career teaching students in Autism Cluster classrooms in grades 3–5. Over the years, I expanded into general education, teaching first, third, and fifth grades. Along the way, I earned a Master of Science in Educational Leadership from Barry University, building on my Bachelor of Business Administration with dual majors in Entrepreneurship and Marketing from Florida Atlantic University. I also hold North Carolina certifications in Elementary Education, Exceptional Children (EC), and School Administration, and have served as an instructional coach supporting teachers and improving student achievement.

My wife and I are raising two wonderful daughters, and as our family grew, we wanted to build our future in a community that offered opportunity, strong values, and a great quality of life. We chose to settle in Hampstead, North Carolina, because we believe in this community and are excited about its growth and future.

That vision inspired the creation of Coastal Academic Center.

I wanted to create more than a tutoring center. I envisioned a welcoming educational hub where learning is accessible to everyone. Whether you're looking for one-on-one tutoring, a quiet place to study, a homeschool cohort meeting space, a classroom for educational workshops, or a professional environment for independent tutors and teachers, Coastal Academic Center is designed to serve the entire community.

Our center offers:

At Coastal Academic Center, we believe that education should be accessible, welcoming, and empowering. Our goal is to provide a place where students can build confidence, families can find support, educators can grow their businesses, and our community can come together to learn.
